Spy Wars: Strong Agents Who Are Ruthless and Talk Little

Chapter 494 Open your eyes

Chapter 494 Open your eyes

The enemy groaned, his body swaying slightly, but he still held Su Ming's arm tightly, refusing to let go. Su Ming raised his eyebrows and, without hesitation, swung his arm hard, throwing the man away. Then he flipped over him and quickly rushed to the back of the abandoned factory building.

Su Ming panted heavily and hid behind an abandoned factory building. Behind him, he could hear the enemy's painful groans, which gradually faded away. The man had been caught off guard, but Su Ming knew that this action was far from enough to escape. The enemy's number was surely far greater than he had imagined, and their goal was single: to find Zheng Yaoxian. He was now a pawn in their game.

He gripped the dagger tightly, lowered his body, and quickly scanned his surroundings. The corners of the factory were filled with discarded steel and wood, the air thick with dampness and oppression. Every second he paused could put him in danger. He had to find a way out quickly, not only for himself but also for Zheng Yaoxian.

"Damn it!" Su Ming cursed inwardly, quickly pulling out his communicator and whispering a shortcut key. A few seconds later, Lin Hao's voice rang out, "How's it going, Su Ming?"

"It's not going well." Su Ming's voice was low. "The enemy has tracked me down and probably knows I'm coming. Can you prepare support? I must make quick work of this battle."

Lin Hao's voice sounded a little anxious on the other end of the communicator: "Is the situation complicated?"

"It's more complicated than I expected." Su Ming narrowed his eyes. "The enemy's vigilance is higher than we expected. There are at least five or six people active around the warehouse. The man I knocked down earlier was no ordinary patrolman. I feel like he's the leader."

Lin Hao was silent for a moment, then replied, "Okay, stay alert. We'll try to provide support. But don't act rashly. The most important thing is to bring Zheng Yaoxian back."

"I know." Su Ming responded in a low voice, a slight sneer on his lips, "But they made a big mistake this time. I discovered their flaw, and I plan to divert their attention."

He quickly hung up the communicator, his eyes scanning the surroundings, his mind racing. The enemy had discovered him; he couldn't remain hidden any longer. If the enemy remained on guard, he would never be able to reach Zheng Yaoxian. So, he decided to take advantage of the enemy's tactics, proactively creating a false impression to lure the enemy deeper.

"I can't wait any longer." He said coldly in his heart, his eyes becoming more determined.

He quickly crossed a horizontal corridor and returned to the farther side of the factory, choosing a more conspicuous spot. He deliberately stopped concealing his steps and swiftly headed towards the main warehouse in the center of the factory. His pace was extremely fast, yet he made no effort to conceal his presence. He seemed confident and calm, as if he had no fear of the enemy.

Su Ming walked about ten meters before suddenly stopping. Then, he kicked the ground with all his might, a dull thud echoing through the empty factory grounds. The kick was incredibly forceful, and the sound resonated remarkably loudly, like a giant echo piercing the silence, deafening everyone. Without further delay, Su Ming delivered two more kicks, this time deliberately making the noise even harsher, as if provoking his enemy.

Sure enough, a few seconds later, footsteps were heard in the distance, and the enemies finally realized that he was not as cautious as they had imagined, but was deliberately exposing himself.

“He’s right here!”

"Hurry up! Don't let him run away!"

Several figures scurried towards him. Su Ming sneered inwardly, his gaze fixed on the factory doorway ahead, the only passage leading deeper into the area. The enemy had fallen into his carefully laid trap, and he was now completely in control of the situation.

He quickly turned and entered the deeper warehouse area. At the same time, he began to quietly adjust his pace, avoiding every enemy that might appear before him. Every turn was filled with a hint of tension and unforeseen danger, but he knew that every step he took was leading the enemy astray.

"This road should be able to lead them to a farther place." Su Ming thought to himself. He had already laid traps in these corridors and secret passages in advance.

To one side, in an abandoned warehouse, Zheng Yaoxian lay trapped within iron bars. His face was haggard, his body leaning against the wall, his breathing weak, and he was clearly no longer conscious. Blood soaked through his tattered clothes, and the blood still flowed slowly from his wounds. With his blurred vision, Zheng Yaoxian seemed to have lost sight of his situation.

"Master," Su Ming whispered to himself, his gaze deep, a mixture of inner pain and anxiety. He looked at the stubborn old man before him, a flood of emotions welling up within him. Once his mentor, now his comrade, the wisdom and guidance he had heard countless times from him now became his only burden. He could not afford any more hesitation. Zheng Yaoxian's injuries were now a matter of life and death.

"Hurry up, don't waste time." Su Ming's heart was filled with anxiety. He no longer hesitated and ran quickly towards the iron door.

Just as Su Ming's fingertips were about to touch the door lock, he heard hurried footsteps behind him. The moment he turned around, an enemy had already rushed into the warehouse.

"Stop! Don't move!" the enemy shouted, the muzzle of the gun in his hand was already pointed at Su Ming's chest.

Su Ming smiled slightly, a cold look flashing in his eyes, "You are too late."

As soon as he finished speaking, a bright light suddenly illuminated from a distant corridor. Lin Hao and several other support personnel had quietly approached the area. While the enemy's attention was focused on Su Ming, they silently blocked the entrance and exit of the warehouse.

"You guys want to mess things up too?" Su Ming said coldly to the enemy, with a hint of provocation in his words.

The enemy was stunned for a moment, realizing that the situation was not right. Just as he was about to react, he was quickly subdued by Lin Hao's team members.

"Hurry up and untie Zheng Yaoxian!" Lin Hao ordered in a low voice, then rushed towards the iron gate.

Su Ming said nothing more, and quickly moved. He and Lin Hao released Zheng Yaoxian from the bars. The old man's frail body had almost lost all strength, and his face was pale, but he still managed to open his eyes and look at Su Ming.

"Su Ming...are you okay?" Zheng Yaoxian spoke with difficulty, his voice hoarse.

"It's okay, Master." Su Ming replied in a low voice, his eyes full of determination. "We have to leave here as soon as possible."

Zheng Yao first gave him a deep look, then closed his eyes and leaned against Su Ming's shoulder, breathing heavily. His injuries seemed irreparable, but at least Su Ming had rescued him from the enemy's grasp. At this moment, Su Ming's heart was filled with mixed emotions, yet he knew it wasn't over yet; the real challenge had just begun.
