Chapter 164 Beth and Jimmy Dobson

Hershel was a little nervous. If Zhou Nan and his gang were robbers, he would have no way to stop them and could only watch them do whatever they wanted.

Fortunately, Zhou Nan and the others were not like that. Zhou Nan would not rob good people. Instead, he kept comforting the old man Hershel, which also made Beth and Maggie feel relieved.

Hershel looked at the sixty or so people behind Zhou Nan with a troubled expression, "Zhou Nan, you have too many people. Our farm may not be able to sustain so many people."

If we really have to supply it, the cattle and sheep on the farm will be in trouble.

Zhou Nan's response dispelled Hershel's doubts, "Don't worry about this. We brought food, and you don't have to worry about where to stay. They will find a place on their own."

As Zhou Nan continued to arrange work, everyone started to get busy.

Rick Sean went to the farm next door to check if it was safe, while Lori and some other women in charge of logistics went to clean up the house.

Some of the guys drove a truck to the farm next door and loaded the truck with anything they could find. Zhou Nan had a vivid memory of the scene of him ransacking Woodbury, and they all followed his example.

Scythes, livestock troughs, feed threshing machines... anything useful was loaded into the car.

Beth looked at Zhou Nan curiously. It was hard for her to imagine that a young man who looked like herself could lead such a group of people. It was really incredible.

Feeling Beth's gaze on him, Zhou Nan smiled back at Beth, which made Beth feel that Zhou Nan was a very kind person.

Beth also said to Zhou Nan: "Zhou Nan, you can actually manage such a large team. Have you studied management?"

Glenn glanced at Maggie and said quickly, "Zhou Nan is amazing! Even if you gave him ten times as many people, he would still be able to manage everything perfectly!"

But after he finished speaking, he saw that Maggie was still focusing on Zhou Nan and didn't even look at him, and he felt frustrated.

This made Hershel nod repeatedly. He did not deny his own abilities, but valued the efforts of others. He was proud but not stupid or arrogant. This gave Hershel a good impression of Zhou Nan.

As young people, Zhou Nan has achieved something, while Beth has nothing, which makes Beth admire Zhou Nan very much.

It seems that Beth is more of a good girl than Maggie, but in fact, it is not the case. This can be seen from the fact that both of them are looking for boyfriends.

Maggie looks very bold, has a hot body and is very opinionated. Not long after getting along with Glenn, she had sex with Glenn while looking for medicine, giving people a very unstable feeling.

Zhou Nan smiled when he saw Jimmy's little gesture. "It's okay, Miss Beth, you don't need to apologize to me. Go and do whatever you need. Your father and I will be here to discuss the acquisition."

After Zhou Nan finished speaking, Hershel also invited Zhou Nan, saying: "It's really cold outside, why don't we go inside first and talk, you can also take a break."

Jimmy Dobson looked at Hershel with an ugly expression, but because Hershel was his future father-in-law, he dared not say anything and could only stand aside feeling aggrieved.

Hershel was originally reluctant to sell the farm, but he finally gave in. If Jimmy really messed up the deal, Beth would have wanted to kill Jimmy. She felt as much pain for her father Hershel as for her sister Maggie.

Jimmy responded somewhat stiffly: "This is not the place to talk. Come home with me first, and I will talk to you when we get back."

On the other side, Hershel felt extremely troubled when he saw Beth and Jimmy leaving first. His daughter was extremely stubborn. Once she made up her mind to something, no one could change her mind even with ten cows.

He really disliked the reckless Jimmy, but because of his daughter's personality, Hershel had no good solution and could only acquiesce.

Hershel looked at Zhou Nan who was smiling beside him, and his eyes lit up.
