Looking at the pregnancy test strips with two lines in front of her, Fang Li tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep.
It felt like a huge secret was hidden in her heart. She picked up her phone several times, wanting to share it with Han Xi, but she held back at the last moment.
In the darkness, Fang Li touched her flat stomach and couldn't help but keep giggling.

He glanced at his watch. "I have an appointment with someone near the old street to discuss some business. Bringing Fang Li along is just a side trip. I reckon we'll have to move around a bit, and you two will be exhausted from all that."
Cheng Xian protested a little: "Talk business? What could be more important than spending time with our elders?"
"This time it's really important. It's a business partner of the company. We were supposed to meet today, but we've postponed it several times before."
Xu Fangye lied without batting an eye, and even put a fried egg into his sister's bowl. "Besides, with Fang Li's personality, how boring would it be to talk to us? It's good to take her for a walk around the neighborhood, and we'll come back together when I'm done."
As he spoke, he casually reached out and ruffled Xu Fangli's hair, his fingertips applying a soothing touch.

Xu Fangye pinched her cheek, his tone tinged with helpless affection, "We can't let them go to the hospital and worry about things unnecessarily."
Xu Fangye drove, and the car quickly descended the mountain.
After driving for a while in the city, the car made its way through the city to the private hospital that Xu was cooperating with.
As soon as he entered the lobby, the nurse at the information desk greeted him with a smile: "Mr. Xu, you've arrived? The appointment has been arranged. This way, please."

Soon, several attending physicians from the obstetrics and gynecology department arrived. The large group of people made one wonder if something serious had happened, and a specialist consultation was to be held.

Once upstairs, the routine inspection began.
Inside the examination room, Xu Fangye stood outside through the curtain, while Xu Fangli, having had her blood drawn, was lying on the bed undergoing an ultrasound.
Listening to the doctor's low-pitched explanation, Xu Fangye leaned against the wall, listlessly playing with his phone.
Suddenly remembering something, he turned on the camera, stuck it in, and took a picture.
The inspection ended more than an hour later.
The detailed test results came back, and Fang Li was indeed pregnant.
It's been over a month, and the due date is in October of next year.
