Chapter 112 Overnight Stay Apartment

At 9 a.m. the next morning, K and his group arrived at the hospital on time. Shen Nian and Mo Ze were also prepared in advance.

Shen Nian barely slept the first half of last night, only falling asleep in the second half. Once asleep, she slept soundly. When she woke up this morning, Mo Ze was already up and had gotten ready.

"What about me? Am I hard to get along with?" Mo Ze seemed to be jealous, childishly asking Shen Nian.

“The uncle is very nice, especially nice!” Shen Nian said very earnestly.

Her incredibly sincere demeanor made Moze's heart skip a beat.

"Niannian~ If one day you find out that I'm just an ordinary person with a dark side, will you still think I'm a good person?" Moze suddenly asked, looking down.

Shen Nian paused for a moment, then smiled brightly, "Yes, no matter what kind of person you are, you are the best in front of me. I trust my eyes and my feelings."

Moze chuckled softly, "Fool."

She seems unable to win an argument with the older man!

Because it was late, Shen Nian stayed at the apartment and planned to go back to school early the next morning. She only took out one set of clothes from her small suitcase, leaving everything else inside, intending to just push it around the next day. So she only packed Mo Ze's suitcase.

After Shen Nian finished showering that evening, Mo Ze stood up from his wheelchair with the help of his cane and went to the bathroom as well.

Just a moment after she went inside, Shen Nian heard what sounded like someone falling, which startled her. She rushed over and knocked on the door, "Uncle, are you alright?"

There was no response from inside for a while. Shen Nian turned the doorknob and found that the door was unlocked. She spoke again anxiously, "Uncle, I'm coming in!"

At the hospital, Mo Ze was helped to take a shower by a male nurse. Shen Nian forgot about this and secretly blamed herself for letting the uncle go in to shower alone with his cast on.

Just as Shen Nian turned the doorknob, preparing to rush in, Mo Ze's voice came from inside.

"Wait a moment."

Shen Nian paused in her movements.

"Uncle, how are you? Are you alright?"

Moze's situation inside was indeed a bit awkward. He had originally planned to go straight in to take a shower, but the leg with the cast on was covered with a waterproof plastic bag.

He was perfectly fine taking a shower by himself, but the bathroom floor was a bit slippery, and he wasn't paying attention, so he dropped his cane and almost fell. Luckily, he managed to steady himself by holding onto the glass door.

However, he did seem to need help. He brought in a plastic stool so he could sit down to take a shower, as it was difficult to do so while standing with one leg on the ground.

"I'm fine, Niannian, could you get me a plastic stool from the storage room?" Mo Ze said to Shen outside the door.

"Okay." Shen Nian immediately ran towards the storage room.

It quickly ran back, thumping as it came.

Slightly out of breath, she said, "Uncle, I brought the stool. Here, take it?" She didn't immediately open the door and rush in, unsure of the situation inside. If the uncle had already taken off his clothes, it would definitely be inappropriate for her to rush in.

"Open the door and bring it in," Moze's deep voice rang out again.

"Oh~" Shen Nian gently turned the doorknob and carefully pushed open the bathroom door. She even closed her eyes, but for some reason, her heart was pounding wildly.

"Uncle, the stool is here." Shen Nian said softly after carrying the stool inside with her eyes closed, while she was still outside the door.

Mo Ze leaned against the wall, wearing a white bathrobe. He looked at Shen Nian's cautious manner and suddenly laughed.

"Niannian, why are your eyes closed?" he asked deliberately.

"What?" Shen Nian opened her eyes abruptly when Mo Ze suddenly asked her, only to find that he was wearing a bathrobe.

She lowered her head, moved the stool over and placed it in front of Mo Ze, and said, "Put the stool here, I'm leaving." Then she quickly retreated and closed the bathroom door.

A soft chuckle came from behind.

This made her blush even more!
