Realizing what was happening, Tang Qianqian became anxious when she saw Chao Bufan leave without warning. Suddenly remembering Tang Guorong's words, she began to believe Chao Bufan's military background to some extent. He stood to one side of the stairwell and said sternly, "If you don't want to die, hide behind me."

This time, Tang Qianqian chose to remain silent and quickly hid behind Chao Bufan as instructed, not daring to move an inch.
