Chapter 170 Tie Her Up

Chapter 170 Tie Her Up

In the morning, Ni Jiamu was in a meeting. Everyone's attention was on the teeth marks on his hand. Combined with his tired look, after Ni Jiamu left, the company group chat exploded.

"President Ni's hand was bitten by a woman, right?"

"I think so too. He has dark circles under his eyes. He probably didn't sleep last night."

"Who dares to bite Mr. Ni? It couldn't be his girlfriend, could it?"

.........

As soon as Ni Jiamu returned to the office, Lin Haoqing came. The new energy equipment launch day was approaching, and he had some things to discuss with Ni Jiamu.

During the discussion, Ni Jiamu looked tired, coughed from time to time, and was in a very bad mental state.

"Jiamu, I see you look very tired and not feeling well. Why don't you go back and rest?"

"Haoqing, you have liked Leng Xiyan for so many years, but she has not responded to you. Do you feel tired?" Ni Jiamu lowered his head, with dark eyes surging.

Lin Haoqing didn't expect Ni Jiamu to ask him this question. He was stunned for a moment, then sighed and raised the corners of his mouth.

"When I first fell in love with her, I couldn't wait for her to like me. But when I found out she liked me, I thought about giving up, but I was unwilling to do so. I was really tired at that time. But later I found that liking her had become part of my life, just like eating three meals a day. I thought I would just wait for her to fall in love with me. I waited from high school until she went abroad, and then waited until she returned home. In the end, I really was with her. I feel so wonderful and happy. Even though we are separated now, I will continue to wait."

After hearing Lin Haoqing's answer, Ni Jiamu raised his head, his eyes slightly puzzled. "Why wait? Why not just tie her to your side? If you wait, she may never fall in love with you and never see you again."

Lin Haoqing smiled and said, "Love is not possession. I hope Yanyan is happy."

Ni Jiamu stopped talking. He looked at the teeth marks on his hand, his eyes becoming more and more serious.

He didn't agree with what Lin Haoqing said. He loved Mo Yu, and only he could give her the best. If he let her fly away, she would fly farther and farther away, and would never see him again. He wanted to tie her to his side, so that she would only have him in her eyes and heart.

Mo Yu was sitting at the dining table, having just swallowed the last bite of her meal when her phone rang. The word "Mom" flashed on the screen. She pursed her lips and swiped the answer button. Shang Xue's familiar, gentle voice came through, tinged with worry: "Xiao Yu, are you sick? Why did Amu ask Wang Ma to take care of you?"

Mo Yu's body stiffened, and she subconsciously sat up straight. Her hands unconsciously smoothed the wrinkles of her skirt. She cleared her throat and tried to make her tone sound relaxed and normal: "No, Mom, I just suddenly wanted to eat the food made by Wang Ma." As she spoke, a faint smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, trying to make this excuse more convincing.

Shang Xue chuckled softly on the other end of the line, her laughter flowing like an electric current into Mo Yu's ears, full of doting and care. "I see. Then let Wang Ma stay there and take care of you. Xiaoyu, your father and I are planning to embark on a world tour." Her excitement was hard to conceal, and at the end, she solemnly warned, "If Amu dares to bully you, please tell Mom and I will teach him a lesson."

Mo Yu's eyes were slightly hot, and her throat seemed to be choked by something. She could only nod her head and respond to her mother's muttering with "hmm" and "ah" until the call ended, then she slowly put down the phone.

"Xiao Yu." Wang Ma's call brought her back to her senses. She looked up and saw a strange middle-aged man standing next to Wang Ma. The man was wearing a plain shirt and a pair of thin-framed glasses. There was a seemingly friendly smile on the corner of his mouth. However, Mo Yu felt an inexplicable resistance in her heart. She looked away and stood up to go upstairs, but Wang Ma gently pulled the hem of her skirt.

"Xiaoyu, this is the psychologist Jiamu hired for you. You always locked yourself in the room before. The doctor came several times but was not able to have a good talk with you. Don't hide anymore today." Aunt Wang spoke sincerely, her eyes full of worry.

Mo Yu paused, hesitated for a moment, then sighed and sat back on the sofa. The man took the seat opposite her, his gaze fixed on her gently. Mo Yu felt uneasy, her brow furrowed slightly as she asked, "Do you think I'm mentally ill?" Her voice was filled with a hint of stubbornness and unwillingness.

The man folded his hands, leaned forward, and explained in a calm tone, "Mr. Ni is just worried about you. You've been feeling down lately, and I'm here to talk to you and help you relax."

The next few days seemed to stretch out endlessly, with interviews and conversations, and finally the doctor diagnosed her with PTSD. Before she left, the doctor told her to stay cheerful and get out more often.

After the doctor left, the room became quiet again. Mo Yu picked up her phone again and opened the chat box with Song Fei. The message she sent yesterday was still at the top, lying there alone, without any response.

Ni Jiamu said that when she found her, there was no one around her, but she clearly remembered Song Fei huddled in the corner of the factory when she was about to faint.

"Fei Fei, where did you go? Did you run away?" Mo Yu muttered to herself, stroking the screen with her fingertips, full of suspicion, and even fantasizing that Song Fei might have rescued Xiao Hecheng.

"Tomorrow, I will go to the police station to report Feifei missing. Maybe she knows where Hecheng is. She hurt Xiaoxiao and stole secrets. She must be punished." She bit her lower lip and thought to herself.

Mo Yu thought back to what Ni Jiamu had said to her these past few days, and the kiss from yesterday, and she felt a surge of irritation. He had kissed her the other time she and Xiao Hecheng went out, but afterward they had resumed their normal sibling relationship. She had assumed Ni Jiamu no longer liked her, or that he had finally realized his feelings for her.

But Ni Jiamu's actions these days made her feel that Ni Jiamu was becoming more and more paranoid, and his possessiveness of her was beyond her tolerance, so she wanted to leave him.

"Moving to school, away from him, might put everything back in place." With this thought in mind, she called her counselor. Teacher Zhang's voice, like a cold shower, hit her head: "Mo Yu, there's no bed available in the department, and your brother has taken two months of sick leave for you. You should just stay home and recuperate."

Mo Yu's hand trembled slightly as she gripped the phone, anger rising in her chest. Ni Jiamu always made decisions for her without asking her wishes. "No, I must move out." Her eyes flushed, her expression resolute.
